Getting a Xiaomi Mi 4i as a gift (should be in my hands next week). Have been looking around for BB's apps especially the Hub to use on it. Went through many different pages and the famous xda thread, finding out about rooting the phone, etc. Finally came across this thread. This is exactly what I wanted and you've made it easy & simple! Thank you!!

I know it's bit of a nitpick, but the company's name is BlackBerry. Seeing it written like "Blackberry" makes it almost look like a fake version of the real BlackBerry apps.

The actual BlackBerry programs use the name "BlackBerry" when you run them. It's only your Manager that lists them incorrectly as "Blackberry".

It was the same over here, but it's a little confusing because you have to choose the main language (1st) and the support language (2nd)

But in the list of 'active input methods' you turn on the main language.

    It's working flawless for me

OK, but do you have the Globe icon in the period button, to the left of the space bar, for quick input method switching? Or do you have to switch input methods via another method?

I'm using a Sony Xperia Z5. As I told you, you I just chose the main language (Spanish) and my support one (English)

    Ah, now I understand.
I am referring to the Globe icon that appears that allows you to quickly change keyboards when you need a different character set - like switching from Latin letters to Chinese, Hebrew, Arabic, etc. - See picture of the way it *should* look, as it appears on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet:

Which, by the way, is how it also appears on BB10 phones...

As far as I know you only get the globe key on the tablet interface of the keyboard. It can't be found on phone installs.

Is there a way to emulate tablet status for individual apps (for unrooted phones)?
In the meantime, I have set "Now Gesture Tweaks" to point to the input method shortcut from "All In One Gestures"... So now a long press (or swipe for other phones/android versions) can bring up the input keyboard change quickly.

Same here. I ended up deleting hub. And use the apps individually.

I can't get the launcher to run, but I've able to run the keyboard, calendar, and the hub. That's pretty impressive since I'm still using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running Android 5.0.

Thanks for sharing this. I've been waiting for the Priv to get to Verizon. This is a great way to test a few features before I make an investment and while I wait to see what LG will unleash at the MWC.

God knows why Blackberry locked down the Blackberry Messenger that much, but anyway. This version is patched to integrate into the hub:

    Blackberry Messenger 2.12.0.9:
    http://homepage.bluewin.ch/simonsmit...0.9-cobalt.apk

    Instructions:
    1. Remove existing Blackberry Messenger
    2. Install patched Blackberry Messenger

Do not try to update your existing Blackberry Messenger with the patched version. It won't work because of signature mismatch.

Did you follow the instructions about setting the permissions. In most cases that is the cause of all problems.

As far as I can tell, I agreed to all permissions. I can boot up the launcher, but it crashes when I try to open additional apps. I'm guessing my phone just can't hack it since I'm still running 5.0.

I'm just jazzed that I got a little taste of what the Priv offers.
