So does anyone know if the UGO Wallet app will work with the Priv?

I tried getting to work but for some reason my Suretap SIM isn't getting recognized. I messaged Suretap to find when Suretap will be supported on the Priv. Nothing yet.
On another note, I was able to make an NFC payment using the RBC Wallet today.
I got a reply from suretap because I can't get my Priv to use it on Rogers.
They said they are aware and are working with Rogers and BlackBerry to correct the issue but couldn't give me a time frame
(That was in regards to the suretap app that came preloaded on my phone. Have not tried UGO)

With the exception of RBC, NFC payment apps need to specifically add support for the phone to work. TD, Suretap, and UGO all have not added that support.
RBC has taken a different approach in that they have specifically designed their app to work on all Android phones meeting minimum requirements: KitKat or later, NFC SIM, unrooted. The Priv meets those requirements and I have been able to use my RBC Wallet without a problem.
In any event, I recommend the RBC Wallet over TD, UGO, and Suretap because they are the only ones to support payment through debit. All the others require you to use a credit card for NFC payments.
Just heard back from Suretap and Priv support is expected by the end of the year.
It seems to be working now.. Only thing that turned me away was you need to have a CIBC or Rogers Mastercard..

A negative for ugo and no timetable. Response from their customer service:
Thanks for contacting UGO!
The Blackberry Priv is supported for the loyalty and gift card features of UGO Wallet but not payments. We are currently exploring the option to add support to this phone but at this time we don't have a time frame available.

Ugo tells me the app is now supported for payments on the priv. That said I haven't been able to authenticate my credit card yet. It now allows me but it fails.. Ugo seems to think this is because I previously had the same card setup on bb10 and a cleanup needs to be done on the cibc end though so I there's may have more luck. I await a response from teir 2.
The suretap app loaded my card. But as of the most recent update when I try to use it android pay seems to overtake it and complain that it's not setup. Haven't really had a chance to see if I can sort that out as its hard to fiddle with when in line to pay for something...

This is the error I get when opening the app

Do you have an nfc capable Sim card?
If so have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it?
Lastly. Make sure you are not on WiFi when you attempt to add a card.

You'd think that banks would want to move quickly on this so Apple Pay doesn't take off here in Canada. Pretty bad on how slow they are moving.

I have a nfc Sim card. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling... no dice. Same error.
Are you able to load the app and get to the add card screen?

Yes. I can load the app. I can add the card. It even downloads the picture of the card and puts it into the wallet... says it will be ready to use in 30 minutes and to call if not activated within 1 hour.. But I'm about an hour it fails and asks me to try again, so my issue is different then yours. I am inclined to believe that my app it working fine and there's a backend issue with my card (still associated with my old Sim card) as they claim but I've yet to hear back from them.
Have you called Ugo support?

I haven't bothered calling ugo support.
I wonder if this is because I'm using a Priv from Shop BlackBerry?
Are you guys using a Canadian carrier Priv?
Posted via the CrackBerry App for Android
Nope. Mine is from shop BlackBerry as well.

Update: PC got my card cleaned up and I was then able to get it added normally.
I've now got both the ugo wallet working for my Mastercard and loyalty cards and the suretap app for my visa working on my unlocked priv.

Still unable to use ugo.
Every time I call ugo they say that the stv100-1 is not supported.
I'm not sure how you guys are able to use the service? I've tried on 3 Privs and all have the unsupported error when launching the App.

If you're trying to use Ugo for TD cards, the TD Mobile Banking app now supports the Priv for mobile payment.
