Anyone that has a Priv, do yourself a favor and install Swype! It's awesome and blows away the BB virtual keyboard imo.
There is a free version and a payed app as well.
Nothing replaces a physical keyboard, but this is good for on the go.

To me swype is terrible. It's all opinion though
Yes. I absolutely love it!
I always liked Swype on my Androids. Just liked my BB keyboard better.
Now I have the best of both worlds!
I can never get myself to use Swype and enjoy it. I personally love the BlackBerry Virtual Keyboard.

lol i can't use swype for the life of me, i spend more time looking to where to "swype" my finger then i actually do "swyping"
If and when I switch to the Priv this beautiful BlackBerry vkb will remain right where it is. I hated swype. Swiftkey is about as far as I'd go IF the BlackBerry keyboard wasn't available. Each to their own but I'll not be joining you with swype. Lol

I had installed Swiftkey playing around, and when I went to change it, the Priv warned me that doing so would have adverse effects on my physical keyboard, so I did not switch it and then uninstalled swiftkey.
Tough crowd lol

Swype is great. The BlackBerry vkb is better.
It was basically built by Swype anyway.

Pretty sure it's SwiftKey not Swype...
Nope they're two different apps. They do the same thing though

If I'm not mistaken you gotta pay for Swype but swift key is totally free

No, I was referring to BlackBerry's keyboard being built on SwiftKey, not Swype.
I tried Swype on two different Androids, last time on my Note Edge, but I quickly delete it. I don't know why exactly, but Swype delivered one of the worst keyboard experiences for me :/
