First you'll need to install Cobalt's Google App solution if you haven't already done so. The first post is really all you're interested in. It has all the pertinent info step by step.

In summary you'll be installing the 3 essential apks of Cobalt's post (Google Account Manager, Blackberry Google ID, and Google Play Services)... then a google play store apk (info and link also referred to in the first post). Finally you'll have to patch the Protonmail apk with the Cobalt's Play Services Patcher.

It sounds intimidating but just read the first post completely before doing anything. Then start through and you'll find it's pretty straight forward.

I got a link to the beta and loaded on my passport no problem. See if you can donate to proton and get a link to download the app outside of playstore. It worked OK on my passport but no notification in hub and I got the Google play message a lot of the time at app opening
