    Hi Zinqs

I'm still having an issue with icon text being cut off, but only seems to happen to icons at the bottom of the screen (my phone is a KeyOne).

See screenshots below. Password Keeper fine, vehicle logger (bottom left) is cut off.

Thanks for the option of removing the BB10 notification tray, looks much cleaner now.

also, is there a way to do a 'reverse peak' animation from the hub widget screen back to the homepage, or some way of improving the transition?

Can you check if it's scrollable?

That scrollable option on the pages is DEFINITELY NOT like bb10 and if possible can you remove it on the next update? Or give the option for the user to turn on or off? Also how about the icon pack 10 compatibility for the next update also?

OK sounds good. I emailed the developer of the "icon pack 10" and informed him about using his icon pack on your launcher. Maybe you guys should send him an email? Or on the flip side maybe you guys could create your own bb10 icons? But icon pack is awesome and does the trick

If you read back a few posts, the editor was just made aware of the existence of the launcher this evening. He is only one person - do you really think he has time to browse all the forum threads and posts for content to blog about? That's what the 'Community' is here for and as he stated above he didn't know of the product. There are a couple of key ways to get his attention and posts like yours is not one of them. In fact, when the launcher released in the Google Play Store one of the other Community Reviewers that joined recently (Ivan?) claimed his stake and was going to prepare an article. Considering the timing of the release (over a weekend during the holiday period), it will likely take a few days to assemble and review cohesive content worthy of a main blog post. CrackBerry works a little differently that the other blogs you mentioned and don't usually jump at headlines to try and turn them into a blog post or review.

The Community survives on passion of readers such as yourself and your intentions are indeed recognized, as are those of Zack Brown's indicated by the followers of this thread. As he so eloquently stated, he is not looking for a 'pat on the back', just the support of members here to help flesh this out in what is currently still an evolving app. Kudos to the developer and his team for being so responsive to the many requests within this thread, rest assured when the exposure you so desire hits the main page, that request list will grow exponentially; with it, so too will the list of reported defects. In the end, we all want to help them make this app better, right? Show the Android world why we love BlackBerry and maybe even catch the ear of someone somewhere who can help keep the feeling of the operating system alive to thrive albeit in another environment.

Sorry for the long rant, I couldn't sleep. Let's keep the passion focused instead of crapping on Bla1ze shall we? He has enough to deal with I'm sure LOL. Goodnight.
Respectfully, I think that you are wrong. IMO the editor's lack of attention to this thread is purposeful. They see exactly what is trending what isn't; they don't need to be directed to a growing thread.

After many attempts to help improve BlackBerry Android software, some of which were literally hours of work and documentation that was posted here and submitted to management all I can say is that CB, under the guidelines of BlackBerry are not interested in making any such headlines for UX improvements.

All my attempts, and trust me there were many, were simply ignored.

This is not bashing or anything; CB is entitled to their own and it's completely up to them what to push forward and what not to and BlackBerry can do whatever they want with whatever information they are publicly exposed to here on CB. I am merely stating my opinion and theory based on a long time experience for pushing the same around here.

I still think it's the best place for all things BlackBerry; just unfortunate that there is no open mind for all the great suggestions made here.

Plugging icon pack seems beyond our internship skills. We have spoke to Shakir about this. He will look into it

You are correct, you can scroll slightly and the text appears in full. With the other user on this one, scroll needs to disappear.

You know what we true BlackBerry fans were left high and dry by BlackBerry when they made the transition to android. Honestly with the best OS(bb10) trying to hang on over the years with no help from the creators themselves was just sad. After so many attempts over the last year and hundreds upon hundreds of emails I sent to developers all over the web I finally found @Zinqs LLC to make this launcher. I knew it would snowball and blow up to a huge thing and was surprised that not one Developer or company in the past listened to me to make this . Now for the #1 BlackBerry forum site (crackberry) to not think this Launcher is a big deal is still puzzling. Amazing it's not on the front page as a "big deal" . I think we all have every right to voice our opinion about this whole "situation" in THIS forum because they go hand in hand. Just saying. All in all I finally found what I wanted and that was this launcher. In my opinion I don't think all these politics are necessary but some people like "action" I'm just glad I got my launcher I've been searching for forever. Now I'm going to go get some "action" from my wife. PEACE OUT.

    Hi Zinqs,

Can you please add pinch filter to hub integration for read/unread messages and bedside mode in settings tab?
    01-09-18 12:42 PM
  16. Zack Brown1420's Avatar
They can't DOD that because the "hub" in the launcher is a widget. You can only pinch when your in the actual Hub app. And bedside mode may be tricky. That's different because of the alarm /clock is different in Android

I'm not sure how to report this but after the last update my launcher crashes when going back to it from different apps sometimes. When it doesn't it displays the spinning for a few seconds. I tried to uninistall and it's still acting up.

We saw this issue in our debug build and added retry button. Do you see a retry button to recover?

No I haven't. When it crashes it just asks me what launcher to choose. Seems to happen often when I press the search and phone icon.

Can you turn on error reporting in your phone? Google will send us crash dump. We will check if it's already there
