    i currently use osmand map but would appreciate a suggestion what map would be good for citytravel apart from googlemap i don't like.

    What City?

    Sometimes the better apps are specific to some cities, or even how you want to get around can change what you should use.

    CityMapper is a good one, if your city is one they offer service for.

    I like Genius maps. Maps are downloaded to SD card so it works offline. Has multiple language options. It's expensive though.

    no specific city. i travel a lot and need an universal map. i just can't get along with google map and osmand is not as precise as i thought.

    No map is as comprehensive as Google Maps so if you want something else you will have to make compromises. I use OpenStreet (OsmAnd or Maps.Me) in my phone and Garmin in my car.
