Hi everyone. I have just received the Lenovo Link device and am suffering major mouse/curser lag. I noticed this started the moment I plugged in the LINK device into USB port, even before installing any LINK software on my two laptops (ThinkPad e560 and t570). I have a BlackBerry KeyOne Black Edition and was very keen with this device. While I confirm I was able to obtain functionality, the physical LINK device appears to have immediately infected my laptops with something nasty, as per the major lag (and less serious lag with T570 running i7, SSD and 24gb RAM). Is anyone able to offer some insight and/or give me some suggestions? (The LINK device cost me AUD$80 approx via ebay so very disappointing so far in from what otherwise would have been a very useful device)

The Lenovo Link is down to only $10.83 on Amazon. Could be a closeout. I use it every single day and it's almost indispensable to me.

Picking a second one up for another room in my house.

Checked out the Vysor App to screen mirror and while it does the same thing through software, the Link is more automated and less buggy. Those who can't get the Link to work should try out the Vysor app.

For those using the Lenovo Link with KeyONE. FYI Oreo update messes up the on screen mouse clicks. I also get horizontal orange bar artifacts scrolling in the BBM and Wechat Contact lists with the mouse. Still workable on most apps but an annoying glitch that will probably not be fixed. The Link Adapter software is no longer in the Google Playstore either. Seems Lenovo has dropped all support.

For those of you interested, I am working on a spiritual successor to Blend - named Fuse for Android. You can find more info on my site at: https://www.tozdev.com/fuse

    Currently the features include:
    • SMS / MMS from your PC
    • View Call Logs
    • View contacts
    • Access all your files & copy to/from the PC
    • Control media playback
    • Open websites from your phone on your PC
    • Native Windows 8 / 10 Notifications
    • Encrypted connection to your PC & nothing is ever stored on your PC
    • Full Notification syncing
    • Clipboard syncing

The long-term goal here is to add screen-mirroring support and cellular connectivity so that it can be as-close-as-possible to the original Blend. I am keeping an eye on the type of things people seem to be interested in so that I can build focus on those features first.

and of course, I have a CrackBerry Thread: https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...z-inc-1098765/

    Enjoy!

@farmwersteve it is currently available - anyone can join the open beta. I'm still working on those long-term goal features however.
