@TheBond I fixed a bug very similar in next release 1.3.1 that I just uploaded to the Play Store (will be available soon). Could you please tell me if it ok for you?

    Thank you for your support!
Just updated and can still reproduce it.

Easiest way to reproduce it is:
    1. Open Keyboard Browser and ensure you're on the quick links.
    2. Click on tab icon
    3. Press W
    4. Swipe back and see 'W' is typed on the url

Note if a website is opened, opening a tab works just normal.

@TheBond Thanks for this screens, but it is what @gizmo21 already described and I still can't reproduce the bug. With my Priv (6.0.1), the W shortcut opens a new tab as expected.

I will continue to track this bug.

I just downloaded this yesterday and haven't had time to mess with it much. With that said, I gotta say I'm really liking what see so far. I'll likely purchase the ad free version if all works well. Hope you don't lose interest in this

not sure if this has been suggested already, but wondering about the press and hold on the back button to bring up the back history, like BB10 has

also when you open the tabs side bar it would be sweet to scroll through there and select with 'enter'

This. The physical keyboard would be efficient. No need to touch the screen when switching between tabs.

    @chevpower394 @ardakca
It is a good suggestion. I will try to use swipe top/bottom to navigate between tabs instead of scroll: I think it will be more accurate.

Just a suggestion here. Private tabs would be nice but not absolutely necessary. Guess I can always roll back to Firefox for that if I need to. An option to import bookmarks would be cool too

Yeah can also still reproduce the bug in 1.3.1. Video-gif is from a previous version:

HHm I guess video ending is a bit to fast to see those letters, but you can see the keyboard icon apear and the bookmarks-startpage vanishing while typing on pkb.

For me I would say don't invest more time in fixing this one, there are workarounds and new features is better for all the others.

Btw. BlackBerry Mobile, if you read this - could you get in contact with alaingrange and support him with some testing hardware (e.g. different pkb layouts) or special dev support in coding or whatever he asks for.

There seems to be many former BB10 users longing for a browser that uses special features of a pkb BlackBerry and the major browser players still seem not to have interest in pkb support.

Now here is a single guy trying to fill this gap, so this is a cheap way to convince more ppl to get KEYone.

I don't think they will attribute devices for an independant developer although they are not capable to sell them yet.

BlackBerry Mobile is already suffering to release KEYone: April, early May, then end of May. Today I still have no information for my country (France) and I suppose I won't be able to test Keyboard Browser on a KEYone before end of June...

But thank you for your support

Well at least in a country not far from yours there are QWERTZ K1s in stores already and the one over the channel has QWERTYs available . Let's see if some BBMobile community manager has heart for devs and arranges a package for you.

I suppose BBMobile community manager don't know the existence of Keyboard Browser. Maybe I will try to contact them via Twitter.

    Update 1.3.2 is available.

    - Tab switch with swipe up/down (when menu is open).
    - Close menu with swipe.

I hope this is what @chevpower394 and @ardakca wanted.
From my point of view, it is a very good idea: now it is not necessary to touch screen for switching tabs. Thanks to them for this suggestion.

I just developed an application called Keyboard Browser which uses physical keyboard of BlackBerry Priv and KEYone :
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ange.bbbrowser

Here is the list of shortcuts:
    - A/Q: Display menu
    - W/Z: New tab
    - P: Previous
    - N: Next
    - L: Reload
    - I: Zoom in
    - O: Zoom out
    - S: Find on Page
    - T: Go to top
    - B: Go to bottom
    - Space: Scroll down
    - Shift+Space: Scroll up
    - K: Bookmarks
    - U: Select URL
    - Del.: Delete Tab (menu open)
    - Pinch In/Out: Zoom In/Out
    - Swipe Up/Down: Previous/Next tab (menu open)

It is just a start and many functionalities are missing, but it is the first step

    --

    1.3.2
    - Tab switch with swipe up/down (when menu is open).
    - Close menu with swipe.

    1.3.1
    - "Open Link in New tab" now open tab in background.
    - Added pinch on physical keyboard to zoom in/out.
    - Fixed a bug when typing url with menu open.

    - Display of addresses typed history from bottom to top.
    - Fixed url typing bug when adding a new tab.
    - Fixed a bug of displaying keyboard while adding a dashboard bookmark.
    - Fixed a bug when selecting default search engine.

    1.2.2
    - Thumbnails for dashboard bookmarks.
    - Added Q shortcut for opening menu.
    - Added Z shortcut for opening a new tab.
    - Added list of keyboard shortcuts in settings.

    1.2.0
    - "Find on page" feature with S shortcut.
    - Search engine selection.
    - Ability to play a video in full screen mode.
    - Fixed a bug when selecting empty tab.

    1.1.0
    - Added possibility to remove ads (restart application after purchase).
    - Customization of homepage.
    - Share feature.
    - Fixed opening some links in a new tab.

    1.0.3

You should have the 'search' feature mapped to the F key, for 'find'. That would free up the S key for the 'stop' command. Then the user can stop loading a web page when they miss-click a link.

You are right, but I first wanted to keep the same shorcuts than BB10 Browser. I think it will be complicated to change them now, but a new one to stop loading a web page is a good idea.
