I've noticed that the downloads for all of the Priv-specific apps on the Google Play store are still at the 1,000 - 5,000 downloads tier, even after opening weekend. I find that worrisome.
I read somewhere that the statistics are updated once each week. Since the launch date was a Friday it is possible the weekend is when the statistics are updated. We will know by next Monday.

Know what? Combined with an update to Android 5.1.1 the Priv apks make the HP TouchPad feel like a whole new beast all over again.

I just loaded these on my Note 4 and the keyboard and launcher work like a charm. Probably won't stick with the launcher, but quite like the keyboard.

Not without patching it in some way, they don't usually make these things backwards compatible.

Not sure what would be involved in making it work on 4.4.2

I'm still miffed that BlackBerry did not monetize these apps in the GPS. I would gladly pay, but it's another missed opportunity for a Company that desperately needs all the help they can get.

Anywho, love the new keyboard and calendar on my Note 4

They still could. If they do that then I'll gladly pay for the keyboard properly and have proper updates through the playstore

Ugh, figured last night if I was going to have to root my Note 8.0 tablet anyways I might as well go ahead and flash a custom ROM, and an entire day later remember why I was always so stressed when I regularly used an Android device. Nothing about installing CM12.1 on the Note 8.0 works like the tutorials say it will.

It functions correctly, but doesn't display correctly. Looks like a stock keyboard, tiny word suggestions, but the gestures and flicking work.

I have a z30 and a Samsung tablet. I downloaded the BlackBerry keyboard on my Android tablet. It blows Swiftkey out of the water. It's like using a new device.
