I found that, regardless of the version, if you just put up with it for a while, it eventually starts working after a while (several days to a week).

If you want to use it, just go into Device monitor and delete all data for Instagram then you're back at square one: open Instagram and login again.

Or just don't use it for a few days, which is probably healthy anyway...

Yeah but that's not the way we want it to work. I had so many versions that would work the first time and then never work again, I had one that worked every 4 days more or less. We just want the app to work when we open it, and that we can close it whenever we want, and that still works when we open it again. Without loging out every time or whatever

I know. All I'm saying is that if you put up with it a while then it magically starts working normally, and stays working, at least until the next update. That was my experience anyway.

Nope. Still freezing.
Updated. Worked fine. Closed it. Reopened it and it froze!
Uninstalled it.
Installed the latest version directly. Worked first time opening.
Closed it. Reopened it and it froze again.
Now I'm back to 9.7.0

Conclusion: It's still a hit and miss. For some, it may work, for others, it's a dead end.

For those that had the previous latest versions working, do you have Cobalt's Google play services installed on your device? Just wondering if that's a factor.

Same here but 9.8 is working for me.
Was using latest version for a couple of hours but since today morning it stopped working.
Not using Cobalt play services, downloaded from APKTrunk

I have the cobalt store, but downloaded the old apk from an apk site. I can't tell you if this is the problem. Maybe someone using snap could tell us.

I do have GPS installed, but that doesn't helped. Since they launched 10.0.x it started to freeze. Since then, the only one that works for me is 8.0.0

I can't get later than 9.6.7 to work. They freeze after the first time opening. Any ideas why some people can get 9.7.0 or 9.7.5? and 9.8 to work?
