Sorry, camera on 10.3.3 is not working for me so I don't know for sure if stories upload is possible.
As for video uploads, it's not working.
However, I can view videos and stories made by other users.

I went back to 9.7.0 and got it working.

Link for this version please. I have the same problem. Also how did you do to install an older version. My phone keep telling me I had a new version so I'm no longer allowed to install old versions, even when I already uninstalled the app

As for uninstalling, perhaps a restart is needed or you have an issue with the android runtime.

I would say the latter. I have went back to 9.5 I think same issues.

Hello,

Was using 9.8 but it started to give some problems after 2 days of use. I'm now using 9.7 and it seems to be more fluid. Let's see if this is the one.

I just installed the latest Instagram (10.0.1) to test it. Started and stopped it about ten times. Can't seem to make it fail.

Make sure you obtain the app with Cobalt's Google Play Store, as there are multiple builds of each version and only one suitable for our devices.

I had to reinstall Cobalt's play store and services, and now is working again. Even the latest 10.1.0.

Crap! It worked for a moment and now it's freezing again. The app opens, and after a few seconds it crashes. No response.

All versions up to 9.7.5 stopped working for me too

This has been happening to me too. There are some odd peculiarities with the bug.

1. When instagram first opens after being installed (or updated), it shows the old interface - whatever UI change was in the last update does not show.
2. If you log out of instagram and then close it, you can open it again and log in just fine. Also, I see the new UI changes this time.
3. After closing it (without logging out) it locks after opening it again. But if you go into settings and delete the app data for instagram, you can open it and login again (you're back at step 1).
4. I've had this happen over several instagram updates, all installed from Snap. I found that if I just put up with it (or ignore instagram) for a few days, it starts working normally again. I can't find any reason.

I did not install from Cobalt's play store though. I'm going to try that.

I did notice that on the first open I still saw some relics of the old UI (the "Your story" icon wasn't there, and the icon in the top right for DMs was the old envelope rather than the new arrows) but after closing and reopening, the UI is updated and everything keeps working. I tried closing and reopening several times now and it still works.

Wait for like an hour or two and then try opening again. It will go back to freezing.

It's still working just fine. I closed it and open again just now and it's good.

I realize it's hard to call anything a "fix" if you don't even know what the problem is. It's seems hit and miss. We'll see if it's still good after the next update.

I have uninstalled it, reinstalled the latest version, and it worked fine for the first time if I don't close the app. It's been more than 24 hours working perfect.

But, when I closed it and reopen, then it start to freeze a second after you open it.

Tried 9.7.0 and is doing the same. Works the first time, but when I close it and re open, run for a second and then it freezes.

EDIT: Finally I got it working, but I had to go as far as version 8.0

Using 9.6 and working very good. Was using 9.7 but had some serious lag and went to 9.6.
