Through my employer we have a BYOD program and only have Outlook for work to facilitate emails.

While attempting to use BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox (BlackBerry Key2) I received this permission request (see photo)

Would using the BlackBerry Hub be a possible IT security concern? As in would they have to "approve" this?

My work email is stored in microsoft's office cloud server.Hub+ Inbox question-hubpermission.jpeg

You should check with your I.T. Department. These are just normal permission requests to allow HUB to work with displaying your emails and receiving notifications.

If your employer is allowing other types of services/apps on other BYOD devices to have access to Outlook, then I can't see this as being any different.

Do you know what you are and aren't allowed to do for the BYOD rules?

I have no idea...seems like we have to use the stupid Outlook App through VM Tunnel.
