From what I understand, the native block-area code feature is not included with Lollipop or Marshmallow, which is disappointing. Is there a preferred app with minimal privacy invasions that does this?

This is what I want to do:

    Found an article that suggested:
    Should I Answer (free)
    Safest Call Blocker (free)
    Call Blocker (free)
    Mr. Number (free)
    Call Control ($8/yr)
    Extreme Call Blocker ($5)

Any recommendations based on your experience?

(Yes, I am already on the Do Not Call list.)

    Thanks in advance!

I don't do call blocking on whole area codes....

In the past with BB10 I used Power Tools for a number of very great utilities, including call blocking. They have brought their great app to Android... might want to give them a try... ToySoft has brought their popular BlackBerry 10 app Power Tools to the Priv | CrackBerry.com
