Has anyone used vanced tube?

Hey guys,
I found this app called vanced tube with some interesting features such as Ad-free, Background video playback, dark themes and much more when we are using Youtube. I have non-rooted Galaxy s9 and the app iis work fine on my device. But my question is has anyone use this app before and is it safe to use?
I got it from this website called vancedtube.com . If anyone can help me, Thanks.

It's fine, as long as you're getting it from their site. I wouldn't trust the other APK files for it floating around.

Is www.vanced.app not their official site?

I use it. It has a feature where you can can play content and turn your screen off. (Listen, not watch). YouTube app requires your screen to stay on while playing content.

It is possible to do this with Firefox or Tor browsers, in desktop mode.
No special youtube apps required.
