    I got a Garmin vivofit ( garmin equivalent of a fitbit). And downloaded their app, Garmin connect. This was in January. The device synced perfectly.

    I updated the app, and now it says no Internet connection. This is false as I'm on the mobile network and other apps are working. The result is that the device can no longer pair with the app

    I suspect this is an android thing as candy crush also says there is not an Internet connection.

    Any thoughts on how to solve this for the Garmin app?

    Would patching it work?

    I've been using the Garmin Vivosmart HR, love it. I've had the (no connection) message once or twice. I've just ignored it as it doesn't happen enough to worry about it.
