    Hi to everyone, I was wondering if I could install dtek app on another non blackberry device. Is that possible? I looked up on google play but nothing there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading

    I don't think you can.
    And honestly, I wouldn't even if you could. DTEK has been plagued by issues since release.

    You can install the BlackBerry Suite apps on non BlackBerry devices available on Google PlayStore.

    DTEK app works perfectly fine and helps a lot in controlling/managing app permissions. Great security feature from BlackBerry

    DTEK doesn't even control permissions.
    All it does on the permission side is notify you when certain permissions are used. Given they removed the camera permission from the list it tracks, without telling anyone, I wouldn't relying on it.

    Until now I know thay dtek can notify and block certain permissions. Iv been using it on my phone and it runs great, the problem is that as I see I cannot install it on another device

    DTEK does not block permissions. I can see how it is confusing though. DTEK links to an OS settings page.
    When you block permissions "in" DTEK, you are actually doing so from Settings>>Apps>>APP_NAME>>Permissions.

    Rico4you is likely confused because BlackBerry does make several of their apps available on Google Play for other devices. Available apps include:
    BlackBerry® Hub
    BlackBerry® Calendar
    BlackBerry® Password Keeper™
    Contacts by BlackBerry
    BlackBerry® Device Search
    Notes by BlackBerry
    Tasks by BlackBerry
    BlackBerry® Launcher

    They would have listed DTEK if it was included

    I have the most recent version as of the date of this post fresh off of my PRIV and you can't install it on other devices. Just tried on my 2016 Google Pixel.
