Cortana's recent update now has made it a respectable alternative to Google Assistant. So for you paranoid anti-googlers, you can now set it as the default assistant. The same long press on the center circle virtual button will bring it up, and "Hey Cortana" works "in app".

It also appears that their word/context recognition has improved.

I wouldn't imagine there are too many of them, but I've see a few "Microsoft is God, Google is the devil" in the wild on CrackBerry. Lol

It's a thing on WC albeit not as big as it was when Google was seemingly going out of their way to be a thorn in the side of Windows Phone. Of course, it ultimately turns out the biggest enemy was Microsoft itself but that's besides the point.

But yea Cortana! Helpful if you have a Windows 10 PC or want to try something different.
