And then, from toolwiz I shared it back to notable, which gave me the option to 'crop':

Anyway, you get the picture (pun), lol ...

So, at the moment one can't just stay within notable to do the editing they need to do, instead you need to send it out to an image editor and then send it back to notable where it can be cropped, and saved.

Nice. What I don't like is that the images can't be saved directly to sd-card. It looks like I'll have to code something for that. Shouldn't be hard to achieve.
I suspect that will be one of the future updates.

A well. I have just coded my own export feature and implemented it to BlackBerry Manager. One or multiple images can be saved to the DCIM folder and Media Scanner is invoked to make the images visible in the Gallery.

I'm still having a problem with Notable taking screen shots. I tried every setting mentioned in the thread and then some. You can see the screen shot I posted earlier in this thread for the error message. Anyone have any ideas?

What are you trying to snapshot? The content of an app? What app?

Are you using a company managed device? Does it force security policies (like disable screenshots)?

Can you take a screenshot by using the on/off key + low volume key?

    Are you using a priv?

Yes. I'm able to take a screen shot that way. That's how I created the screen shot of the error.

    Yes I'm using the Priv

I'm also running very few 3rd party apps. I have mostly a stock device.

The immediately edit screenshot option does not work as well. I have to use the power button and down volume to take the screen shot and then within the app I have to go get it.

Ok here a radical method. It is possible that the error message is sent from BlackBerry Hub+ Services. Maybe you should uninstall BlackBerry Hub+ Services, the Notable and then reboot your device. Then reinstall everything.

Are you running the apps from Play Store or from BlackBerry Manager?

It's not (currently) designed to work with the built in Capture method (they mention that in some Play reviews).
Automatic editing is only for when you use one of Notable's own triggers.

That's a part of the problem. Notables screen capture is not working. Look at the screen shot I posted earlier.

I'd like to throw in a question: How are you guys accessing the snapped screenshots for further processing? Are you using the share feature to save the file somewhere? What app are you using to send the share to?
I don't see any other way to do further editing without using the share function since the images don't appear to be saved to an accessible directory. I use an app called Photo Editor.

Blackberry support has me check permission in Hub+ Services. They were ok. The also asked me to boot in safe mode which mad no difference. I'm not sure I understand your question but I downloaded Notable for the play store. What the current version.

Maybe... but what? I'm open to ideas. I'm considering on doing a factory reset but it seems a little much for this issue.

    Hello,

I had the same problem with notable apps and strange permissions issue saying that screen capture is denied.

I reseted all apps permissions and seted up permissions exactly as they were before ans now it is working.

Seems that notable have some interactions with Google Play Store apps because when the permissions message is displayed I have to enable Goodgle Play Store, then launch notable and then disable Google Play Store. Even after a restart notable is working.

    Kr,
    Moo
