Did a quick read through and didn't notice anyone successfully doing this on the supported hardware. Downloaded the files, booted into fast boot, connected. Extracted the compressed folder. Executed the batch file and confirmed with a "y". Let it do its thing and about 15 minutes later it booted up.

Does anyone know if this will work for a downgrade. I am new to the autoloader and am unsure if it works for a downgrade. I am not too happy with the newest 16MB update and would like to downgrade. I have an amazon Priv with no subvariant. But dont want to try the downgrade without some confirmation.

    Thanks.

seriously, people, does anybody tried this with any luck? I'm thinking of running this on my Amazon Priv because installing the maintenance release bricked my Priv. Please anyone, if you've tried this then please details your process and results. Thank you in advance

    Hi guys,

Please don't kick me for my newb post and stupid actions My Priv doesn't connect to GSM or UMTS anymore because I messed with the *#*#4636#*#* menu and set the radio band to "USA Band" with no other option to revert it. Can any part of this firmware be used to undo the change? The phone is STV100-4 emea-none, so the full reflash will brick it as stated on the original post. I was thinking about maybe the modem part only can be flashed?

Meanwhile I'm waiting for a monthly device update in hope that it will reset the settings.
    Thanks in advance,
    Arthur

Tried as a first thing. Didn't help. Found this problem reported by other people here, no solution so far. I'm going to call BlackBerry.

As far as I know, Priv updates are one-way. I can't find the specific source right now, though.

Still, I'm not 100% sure that the subvariant would be compatible with the T-Mobile Priv.

I don't know which STV-Version it is, but it seems to be the image of the january release:

haven't found radio.img, but perhaps it's named different.

So I did something stupid (that USA Band thing) on my ShopBB Canada one, and may have locked out my Asia bands. I don't know if I'm worrying too much for now since it's still working here in Canada though and I can't test it until I'm in Hong Kong next 2 weeks, but there seems to be reports that it does indeed lock out the band in the -1 version.

Is there an AAE016 loader or do I have to go back to AAC826 with the autoloader then update again to AAE016?

There's only two loaders in the wild: this one (AAC826, STV100-1, non-carrier) and this one (AAD250, all devices?). Try the second one.
