I was experiencing problems with my Hub for 3 months.

So I reached out to CB a few days ago. I was told by Cobalt to update, install the new BlackBerry manager and everything will be alright. Now things have gotten worse
No warning, no nothing. I've lost my Keyboard history and cache which dates to 2.5 years. And my Hub Email still doesn't work, this is stupid.

Is there a way to get back the keyboard data/cache? I am beyond frustrated

If you paid for it, you would have received an email warning you.

Bro, it was Cobalt's damn job to warn me. He literally told me to update everything without warning.
I had no clue. You just need that one up on me right?

Cobalt just screwed me over. Great

It's his JOB to warn you? You're pirating software bud - and you're not paying him either!

Isn't he supposed to warn me?

I was going to yesterday. After he answered my DMs, but he didn't. Once my email issue was gonna get resolved, I would've. Not anymore

Also, don't try to even argue that. Please get a life. Don't start arguing with me everytime a start a thread

He's giving his product away for free by choice, doesn't mean he misguides his customers. Yesterday you were against him now you arent. Stay out of this

You don't have anything nice to say, don't bother.

I'm not against anyone. I'm only commenting on your sense of entitlement with regards to stolen software.

Stolen Software being provided by a legit developer. Your argument is invalid
If you don't like his ****, don't try it. I bet you have in the past

unless my memory is failing me, there were plenty of messages in the forums that explained that learned words would be lost with that update. I'd never expect someone else to explain all the pluses and minuses of an update to me. I figure that's my job.

I didn't know any non-BlackBerry user was paying for it.

You seem like a legit person. I need some parts to fix my truck. I’m willing to pay you for stolen parts. How long is your warranty????

I mean, here on CrackBerry, you just can’t make this stuff on up...

Thanks for the laugh. It gets harder every day, yet it happened today...

I will say that I've wondered why BlackBerry didn't offer backup options for the Launcher and the Keyboard. Others do offer those type of features for their similar apps...

But I agree.... It's not really Cobalt's job to warn about all the "issues" from these apps. BlackBerry documented this and that's the info anyone updating should have checked out.

Bottom line it's the cost of living outside... you get rained on sometimes.

I realize that the Internet is the home of hyperbole but using loaded language such as "screwed me over" is not going to get you any sympathy in this case. Cobalt had no intention of harming you.

*BlackBerry screwed you over five months ago.

Consider that since you're using Cobalt's thing you aren't paying for the privilege of having the keyboard get worse each update.

I wonder how many times I've told someone a "solution" without giving them the full list of warnings about backup up data, or thing won't work like they once did....
