How do you make it so that you can select "Local Calendar" as an option in the default calendar setting rather then one of my e-mail accounts? I had it before but the last time I reset my phone it didn't appear this time and don't know how to get it back. Can anyone help?

Have you tried going to Settings:Accounts and Calendar Folders and un-checking all the accounts?

Yep, it just leaves the default calendar setting blank and then the app doesn't let you add anything (events, reminders, alarms) to the calendar at all.

Do you know how to do this in BB10? I think I did do it once but I can't remember how to do it since I wiped my phone.

Solution to all calendar problems is to use Business Calendar, a near perfect app.

Which "Business Calendar" app are you referring to? Appgenix? S App Fusion? Free or Paid?

Appgenix. I think the free version is great. More options with paid version.

After a lot of searching through menus, I've figured out how to solve my own problem on BB10 Calendar.

In Calendar, swipe from the top and go to Settings. Click on Meeting Invitation Settings > Account Settings > Set Defaults.
