I am new with an Android KeyOne. I always had a BlackBerry phone from World to Z10. I just switch last week and still getting use to this. Could anyone recommend a good. MP3 player for my phone?

I use Google Play Music (for the streaming/cloud features), although Rocket Player is good.

I personally like Phonograph. It's the simplest one I've found. If you enable black/amoled theme and set the primary color to black, it reminds me of the BB10 music player.

Google music is trash - disabled it right away after it won't let you sign out and the search feature always shows online results from "Google music" rather than just the local files.

There is a "Downloaded only" toggle...

It doesn't affect the search sadly!

..that Google manages to toggle back on for you every once in a while without asking. Personally I found that annoying and switched to Rocket Player.

A few that I have tried that are customizable and have dark themes:
    PowerAmp
    Rocket Player
GoneMad Music Player (what I'm using now)

Neutron works best for me, and organizes the albums properly with no intervention. Great player, and worth paying for.

And if you use the voice assistant to say "play <song/artist/album>" it will stream from google music rather than your own library even if the download only is toggled on.

after testing poweramp, black, neutron, phonograph, go, Pi, and pulsar... and others... pulsar was the one for me. it's fast and has the easiest, most enjoyable user interface

I was using poweramp, have done for years. There seems to be an audio skipping issue with the keyone though. I've gone back to Google Play Music for the moment.
