    Adguard is an ad blocker. It requires VPN. I don't know what that is. Does giving it VPN reduce security and allow say the Dev's access to my device or crap like that?

    Actually. GG battery life. This app seems to use a lot of it.

    AdGuard does not require VPN. To me it looks like it is spoofing VPN in order to catch incoming ads and prevent them from showing up.

    Ah. So I don't have to worry? Well I might uninstall it because of the impact on battery life

    I believe you can enable the protection in AdGuard & then turn it off. It runs in the background. I've never found it to hog battery.

    Battery life is way better with it uninstalled. Really sucks though. It was a good app. As block plus just doesn't work.
