After going to Amazon Appstore on PC, I figured out that there's some popular apps marked as incompatible with my BlackBerry for example

Asphalt 8: Asphalt 8: Airborne:Amazon:Mobile Apps
Real Racing 3: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BJQ...ref=mp_s_a_1_1

So here is the question: How can I grab these apk so I can install on my device? I wanted them because after patching them (apk from GPlay) none of them works. They all quit after downloaded data without error, dialog or anything useful.

You can't. Amazon was slightly smarter in hiding their APK files.

side-load Snap on your phone. It will let you download these two games directly from Google Play Store. Once you install the games, the *.apk files will be stored in the 'downloads' folder on your phone. Note that the Real Racing 3 apk is only a intermediate downloader for the full game (the full download is 440 MB).

Amazon says that the games aren't compatible because they most likely depend on one or more of the Google Services. You could try patching the games to remove the google dependancies and installing patched google services, but there is no guarantee it will work.

Patching didn't work, it said data was downloaded (obb downloaded manually) and when I clicked OK it close without any warning or error. That's why I wanted to try the Amazon version, they can't depend on GPlay because the Fire phone isn't supporting it and Amazon force devs to use their own framework (built in the Appstore)

That's actually not true at all. What should really be said is that apps in the Amazon Store aren't SUPPOSED to use Google services but some often do.

I'm in the same boat. I've been trying to patch RR3 for quite some time now, and even enlisted mainely_linux to help me grab some resources from an Android tablet (since mine is broken).

I think I will try grabbing the apk from a Kindle Fire (if I can) and see what happens....

If they're marked to be compatible with the Fire Phone or Kindle, I think they should work without Google Services but I may wrong

And you can get asphalt 8 with A simple asphalt 8 1.5.0 +obb search in google Second link works for me (Z10) there's the apk file And the obb. Afterwards you put the obb in Phone>misc>Android>Android > obb (Has to be something like this). Hope I helped you out

You can download them on any other device, then using an app called apk share from snap you back them up, send over the apk.

The catch is, you have to be signed in with the same amazon ID on both devices, so no piracy can done on paid apps. They'll give you "authentication failed" error if it's not on the same ID.

I do it for my mom on her phone, I signed in with my amazon account on both our devices then I download the game or app once and send it over, saves bandwidth and time on bigger apps

The BlackBerry World version of Real Racing 3 tooks ages to download 10MB of data while the Android version grab all data (over 500MB) in just 30min and also the BlackBerry World version is out-of-date.

I've tried the newest Asphalt 8 and it's only says "All data downloaded, press OK to play" then crash when OK is pressed (obb was grabbed from 1mobile, Asphalt was patched to disable license checking (Gameloft put license checking on... free apps)) will try ver 1.5.0 later, thanks.

I'm happy to send you the APK, which I was able to grab today. As noted above, though, it has to be downloaded with the same Amazon ID or it will only present you with a dialog saying the content is not authorized and one big quit button.

It was, however, downloading resources in the background.

We are aware of the BBW version of RR3. It is horrendously out of date. It is entirely useless because any cloud saved profiles from newer versions cannot be restored to this pathetic old version.

Think it's possible to patch RR3 to disable license checks? It's pretty silly to require those for free apps, even though I do respect the app creator's desire to protect their IP.

I tried patching before install and it wouldn't load. Also tried patching after install and I still get the "content not owned" errors but it looks like it's making progress. Let me know what you find.

Btw, it was kind of a pain trying to scrape this out of a Kindle. Mostly because I'm not used to their limitations. LOL

It's almost working... Can hear sound but the game hang... This is the Google Play version, no patching applied

Any more luck getting this to run? I was able to run Frozen Free Fall even though it complained about content owner. I just asked in cobalt's thread able an update to Amazon patching.

Did you patch the apk I posted? If so, what patches did you apply? Mine still doesn't want to work.
