Hey guys! Thanks in advance for reading & helping:

Since I updated my Instagram app to the version with the "stories," I've been having trouble maintaining a properly functioning Instagram app. The first one stopped working after about 10 days, and the last few only worked at first and once I closed the app and reopened it, it was basically just a saved feed of what I last scrolled through--wouldn't update my feed, let alone allow me to do anything else.

So I've been trying to download other Instagram APK's from various websites but to no avail. Either they're unable to download or they download then say it can't install because either A) there's "already a newer version downloaded and I need to delete those in order to install an older version" or B) "There's not enough space to save this file, please delete other files to make room." It's frustrating because I don't know what's going on; I've already deleted all the APK's and I have plentyyyyy of gigabytes left of storage.

So basically, what's the best & most reliable way of downloading Instagram? I don't have a computer, I'm using a Passport, and I don't want to use iGrann nor Inst10 (they're good but don't compare to the native app). Ideally I'd like to get Google Play & Play Services on my phone.

You would have to follow Cobalt's method. And there is no guarantee that Instagram will work on BB10's outdated Android runtime even after all that.

My Z30 is having the same issue. ran fine until a couple updates ago.

I tried one from apkmirror.com - one of the 9.2.0 variations, but it behaved the same way, so I'll try an earlier one.

My experience is it didn't need patching... at least not before now.

I've just updated to the 9.2.5 after having issues a few weeks ago not being able to post videos, it worked ok earlier versions around 8 I think. Last week's update worked with video upload then decided not to update the feed now the 9.2.5 version works but can't upload videos again ><

Hey what APK site did you use? I've tried installing earlier versions but my phone always says something along the lines of "there's already a newer version on this device. If you want to install, you have to delete the newers versions then try again." even though there's definitely no remains of the newer APKs amongst my files -__-

OK I had the same exact problem as you I had instagram updated to the latest update with stories and it was way too buggy I made the mistake of holding the app and deleting it through the BlackBerry menu and BlackBerry still has the apps installed even if it doesn't show it anymore and if you go to the playstore to try to uninstall from there it will crash. The solution I found for my BlackBerry Classic is that I downloaded Easy Uninstaller from the Google play store and uninstalled the app from there, I already had an older instagram version which is the 8.5.1 version you should have an older apk of IG in your downloads folder in your file manager unless you deleted it because if you download an apk off of Google play it will save as an apk file in the downloads, 8.5.1 is the one I am on now not sure if that's an update before the stories came out on IG or two updates before that.

Well, version 9.1.5 didn't work, so I'm going 9.1.0 and so far seems to work and update.

9.1 worked, but the new 9.3 today works for me.
