With a few miss clicks I installed a 100mb+ file and due to my mobile data limit I can't download a 219mb file with my mobile data.
I have my amazon mobile data limit set to 20mbs.
I don't have access to a wifi network atm and I keep getting these errors saying either change my data limit or connect to wifi. Buy I don't want them both.
Are there any way to stop the download? I can't use my phone for a minute without amazon store opening with the same error.

How do I stop amazon app store downloads?-img_20140913_144058.png

Go to settings and than Wifi settings- there's an option to use Wifi more than the required mb. Change there to 300 or 400 mb as you are downloading 200 mb file.... If you want to stop the download than close it while it is still downloading and next time you open the store it will directly go to the required download. Press back button than, so that it will never download that again

Ive found that the app still downloads even though amazon appstore is closed, as if it downloads in the background.

You need to have device monitor opened while amazon appstore is downloading something,

    • minimze appstore and open device monitor
    • find appstore in cpu or memory
    • click appstore
    • click close and confirm you want to close all proccessors
    • then click clear data

not too sure if it works for everyone, but that stopped the downloads for me, when i opened appstore again and went to my apps and then cloud, the app wasnt downloading anymore.

I'm on os 10.3.1, havent tried it for other os'
