Using a 710, I see a LOT of WP7.5 in BB10. Particularly the 'flow' concept.

Of course, a large part of that flow that both WP and BB10 have is ripped off of WebOS -still my all time king of smartphone OS's

I thought I would have trouble adjusting to a virtual keyboard, but this device is easy to type on in either portrait or landscape mode.

I also have a Bold 9900 and have just used my upgrade on a WP. I missed my BB so I'm now carrying both phones. I've noticed that email alerts come to my BB first and then, A LOT later to my Nokia Lumia; Facebook doesn't work well either. It's pretty laggy and slow.
The Lumia has a many things that I like, but as a communications device, I'll stick to my BB because of the Keyboard, fast email notifications, Facebook and BBM. I'm not getting rid of if any time soon!
