Interesting business details but few that answer the questions we're all asking. Such as, when, device compatibility and plan cost:

WIND Mobile LTE Network Announced, with Nokia Partnership | iPhone in Canada Blog - Canada's #1 iPhone Resource

    EDIT

Here's a G&M article that goes into more detail:

Unfortunately they're going to build it out on AWS3 (band 66) which means all new devices if you want LTE. The good news is that it should ease the serious congestion issues that seem to have hampered WIND since its inception.

On the windmobile facebook page, this dude jason hardt keeps saying congestion doesn't exist, etc. Lol

I can't wait for it to be relieved but I would definitely still keep my device on HSPA until I need to upload something large on the go.

Yup, or network saturation. Sort of like a traffic jam, only in/on the airwaves.

You'll notice on wind, during peak hours, your data slows waaaay down, and you will get calls failed due to "network busy"

I notice this especially in heavy populated areas, doesn't make it unuseable, just slows down, and sometimes you'll need to try 2 or 3 times to connect a call.

I'm not in a heavy populated area I guess because it's never happened to me.

Cannot wait for more speed on Wind. So frustrating sometimes but too cheap to move carriers and be part of the alliance.

Even when I have no problem making calls, some areas I get no data, but I have full bars. Wind works better in the smaller communities, but not so good in congested areas in the GTA.
