Rogers Z10 on Wind Mobile
I know a lot of Wind users are getting impatient waiting for the Z10 to be released but Im just going to give you a solution that worked for me that might help you out.
I bought a Rogers Z10 model RFF91LW from a Rogers store.
I then unlocked it using QuickPhoneUnlock (Other Phones | Quick Phone Unlock).
When i got my unlock code i went into my local Wind store and purchased a micro sim card (I didn't cut my old sim only because I heard rumours that it wouldn't work with the Z10 if the sim had been cut).
I popped in my new sim card and scanned for available networks and "Wind" popped up. Data and everything is working fine! I highly recommend anyone who is with Wind and doesn't want to wait for them to release their Z10 to do this instead.

I'm not sure why the other G is smaller, I just checked now and its back to upper case. With regards to my HSPA+ speeds its running much faster than i thought it would. I've tried other Z10's on different carriers and the speeds were honestly about the same.

I'm not really sure, I tried about 3 separate times to buy a Koodo phone outright but they wouldn't sell it to me. Rogers was the only one that would and I was a little sceptical about it working but if the model is the same I don't see why it wouldn't.

they didnt want to sell it to me in the first place either, but luckily i called customer support the night before i went in and they said i can get it on prepaid, so i made them call, and voila. still trying to get it unlocked though. i find the RFF91LW version gives us more freedom, as if we need to go somewhere without wind, we can still go with the bigger carriers

Yeah exactly, after getting the phone unlocked I have the option to pick up a new sim if I'm every travelling or whatnot. Works out great!

I can also confirm that my unlocked Rogers BBZ10 works with a Wind Mobile SIM (I cut it). Data roaming is off and it is showing Wind Home.

Rogers Z10 on Wind Mobile
I didn't have to change any of the network settings. It did it by itself.

When you put in the wind sim the phone acts completely like a wind phone even has a wind loading screen during startup. I called wind and turned off "Wind Away" so I only get service when wind home is available. Turning "Data while Roaming" on and off make no difference at all for me.
