Hi all,

Wind Mobile Q10 User here and I have heard from some people that when I sent a text message, sometimes they get the message twice. I have seen this occur in person myself which is strange.

Anybody have any thoughts??

What do you mean? You've seen it happen when you send them or you've received doubles as well. Because if you also get doubles, it could be carrier related.

on wind mobile here, and have seen this over the past week (not for every msg received, but every now & then).

Yes I have had this issue pop up from friends of mine when I have chatted with them.

A few people have mentioned this as a casual thing. It only appears to occur once in a while.

Hasn't happened to me yet. Sometimes it might be the device itself (the modem) retrying when it thinks the message failed to send.

That's just a blunt guess, but it's possible. Had a friend on rogers keep getting "message failed" on their end, and they sent the same message to me 20 times in a row and I had to tell them to ask if I got it, despite it saying "message failed!" They had a nokia, now an android.

I was getting this on t-mo (Z10) and T-mo said "it's us or your SIM". They played with their network and no change. Gave me a new SIM, and that was it. But mine was not intermittent. It was all the time.
