I have a question, recently switched to Wind from Telus. with Telus you have an option to pay for your purchased apps through your monthly bill, so is there any similar method with Wind?
If not then which method would you refer to pay for your apps purchase (credit card or paypal?) which method is safer? Thanks, have a nice day.

I do not have either Telus or Wind so I can't tell you if this is possible, but I have used both my credit card, paypal and VZW for purchasing my apps. As to which is safe? I have had no issues with any of them.

Thanks for the quick reply, how does the credit card info (#) payment work? does the credit card numbers store on your phone at all? Or it store somewhere on the apps vendors and somewhere? I wouldn't be comfortable if it store on a small developer system. I used to buy apps but they bill me through my monthly Telus bill, hope someone has more details to light me up, greatly appreciated and have a nice day.

You used to be able to pay for apps bought through BlackBerry World via carrier billing but for some reason WIND cancelled this option last year sometime. What made it particularly frustrating was WIND didn't announce the change and then denied they had anything to do with it and blamed BlackBerry for withdrawing the option.

Anyhow, you can only pay for apps with either a credit card or PayPal account now and you can set either up through your BB profile. This information is held by BlackBerry as the payment is processed through them and they pay the developers so either one is pretty safe to use.

System Settings>Payment Options>(Verify Account)>Add>New Credit Card or PayPal

It is great that the payment information is held by BlackBerry, I would feel way more comfortable when I have to buy any app through BBW, thanks and have a great day.

If carrier billing doesn't work with Wind, best option in my opinion is to use a PayPal account linked to your credit card.

Why, to pay 2x more and get 500mb of data?

I think I prefer what I have now, thanks.

Negotiate? I was with them for 10 years, they just too dumb to lose customers. Telus will never be my carrier again ever unless they give me unlimited for $44.

I certainly won't switch back to telus either. It'll be over my budget.
