Yes, a screenshot would definitely be more helpful.

Otherwise, is it to left or right of Wi-Fi icon? And please describe it.

Is it the Bluetooth icon? In OS6 it no longer has the blue oval around it.

Its right of the wifi icon. It look like a blackberry symbol but just with four dots intead of 7
