WiFi only e-mail

just yesterday i put my old plan (which is not a data plan) on a old curve 8520 and set up my hotmail account.
I was wondering if there is a way to only let my phone acsess email through wifi so i dont end up with massive bill?

Not to the native bb mail client. You would have to use the browser or maybe there is a specific hotmail app that could do the trick.

BB mail client needs BIS/BES to get the mails delivered.

You would have to use the browser to locate an app and install it OTA. That's assuming you can get the browser working on wifi. Most apps will not work without the data plan.

i see, also i know this is somewhat off topic but when i turn off my mobile network when i turn it back on i will receive any sms sent to me while I had my mobile network turned off, right?
