Default wifi not working after os upgrade
I just upgrade my blackberry curve 8520 to OS version 5.0. Everything works fine but my Wifi would not work anymore. It connects to the wireless network but when I go on the browser it takes me to my service provider's page. It says I have to purchase a data plan. This never happened before when I had version 4.6. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Try installing another browser such as "Bolt" to see what happens. Hmmm I've always had a data plan so not sure if the update may somehow be trying to force you into a data plan now. Since you cant access the internet, of course this will require that you download it from the computer to your media card and install the browser from there. Battery Pull?
