Default Wifi help? [Curve 3G]

I can't seem to connect and I don't have a data plan. I'm pretty sure there isn't a problem w/ the internet since I am using the wifi on my laptop. Any tips on how to fix this? I'm using a Curve 3G with os6.

Depending on what you are trying to do, you may still need a data plan. Wifi is intended to augment your BIS data plan, not replace it. Here's a thread that might give you some idea what to expect: http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/why-...s-wifi-587358/
