When i turn of mobile network what happens to SMS

when i turn off my mobile network to use wifi what happens to any SMS that are sent while i am only uising wifi. Will i revice them once my mobile network is turned on again?

Yes, you will.
It's just like when you turn your phone off, then turn it back on and you still get them.

Are you turning off your mobile network to conserve battery life?
I'm in a wifi area most of the day and never turn the network off.
Just curious.

no im not turning it off to conserve battery life.
I turn it off in a wifi area so i dont pay for data.
Its unfortuante i have to do this because on my bb you cant prioitize wifi and on some you can.
