Default Tether wifi connection

I got an old laptop without a WIFI adapter. Can I somehow use my blackberry's WIFI adapter using the usb cable and some software to get wifi on my laptop?

It's no different than tethering your laptop to access your BB's internet through the mobile network. The same charges and caveats apply. You could get the Tether app for BB to try to avoid tethering charges from your carrier. But even if it's on sale at $25, it would be cheaper and easier to simply buy a Wi-Fi USB dongle for your laptop.
