Tether Using Wifi?

I have a paid copy of Tether and i would love if they could add a wifi feature to it. I use Linux most of the time and as it is currently set up, you need a pc app to run it, which does not exist for linux. I also have Windows 7, but choose to use it only when needed.

the wifi radios in the BBs wont support it and you dont have wifi in your storm 1 anyway

I need to update my profile, I have a storm 2. Is it a hardware or software limitation?
