Setting up WIFI with a wired connection that is always on, and no PC?
I work in a camp in a remote location.
The only source for internet is an Ethernet plug on the wall in my room.
I would usually plug my laptop into that plug and I'm good to go, no password or anything
it just works.
I would like to leave the laptop at home, and roll up there like a rock star, sporting nothing but the playbook.
My idea is that ill go over to future shop, buy a wireless router plug that in instead of the laptop and presto Im surfing crackberry.com on my own personal wireless network.
Is this going to work?
Do I need a computer initially to set the router up? and if so are there any stand alone routers?
I would appreciate any insight you could give.
