 possible workaround to resolve greyed out Wifi icon
Hi,
A lot of people are complaining on the 'greyed out wifi icon', including myself.
Well, here is something that works for me, tested on 4 different wifi routers.
After you switched on Wifi, go to Wifi Options. Then scroll to the access point you're connected to (Wifi profile) and click on it.
Next, go to Wifi tools, Ping and select Self or Wifi gateway. You click on the menu button to 'Send Ping'. After 10 seconds, on my phone, my greyed wifi icon becomes white.
I know this is not the ideal solution, but hey, if this works, fine by me
