Default Issue connect to my home wifi network...

Everytime I try to connect to my wifi at home, its always unsuccessful. It shows the Network name beside my carrier name name which means I've entered the password correctly. Works fine on all the other connected devices, computer and laptop excpet for my Torch. How do I know its not connected? Well I set it to "wifi prefered" in the Mobile Network options and it should automatically connect to UMA a instead of showing 3G or the coverage strength when on the browser. Also I am unable to browse the web, I'd get an error message saying "unable to connect to the server" or something along those lines. I went to trouble shoot it and in the diagnostics it says "ISP error. DNS server cannot be reached" so what does this mean and how do I fix this. Here's a screenshot which might help explain this:

I will take a shot at it. In the current Rogers catalouge, there are several models, including the Bold 9700, that are provisioned for UMA. Other models use Wifi to provide BIS over IP.

The major difference is Voice and text when UMA is active.

I suspect you can provision your Torch to use UMA from the advanced engineering screen.

I have unlimited Wifi calling on my Rogers data plan. So yes I am able to provision UMA on my Torch. It works fine but only when my wifi connection is fine as well.

If I understand correctly, you have used UMA in the past.

Your Wifi Network status is aquired, I do not think that is the problem.

Was your Torch provisioned by Rogers or did you do that manually?
