How do enable wifi to work with O2 network

As the title says,

I got the Blackberry curve 8520 from my Missus, she use to have it on contract and not im using it on pay as u go with tesco mobile/O2, i have found my wifi network on the phone and when my sim card isnt inserted in the phone the browser works fine, soon as i put the sim card it, it says my service provider may not support what im tryna do.

Is there anyway i can access the Web without having to take my simcard out everytime!

I have tried to find it on the setting and everywhere but cannot find it for the life of me!

If anyone could help i would be very grateful!

Browser/menu button/options here i cant remember exactly where but look for settings to change your browser to "hotspot browser"
When you have a sim in it it will either show "wap browser" or "internet browser", you need to change it to "hotspot"

Yea i have read that on various other threads but this still doesnt work for me.

It says 'Data Services are diasbled. Go to Mobile Network to enable'

I dont get what that means?

Go to options/network settings/ where you can enable data services.
