Default How Can I Use My BB Torch as a Wifi HotSpot??
Hello Fellow CrackBereiers!!!

Hoping someone can help a brother out... I am looking for a way to turn my Torch into A WiFi HotSpot to share the 3G / data with other devices (ipod touch, and maybe a laptop)

Essentisally I want to be able to use my BB's data, on my wifi only ipod touch when wifi is not available

Does anyone know any hacks, or apps that could acchieve this??

This isn't possible yet. OS 6.1 adds this feature, I believe, on phones that support it.

You can use a program called Tether to use your blackberry as an internet source on your laptop via usb or bluetooth, but not your iPod.

Do we know when the 6.1 update will come? I have a Bold 9780 im guessing it will be the same??

It's not a hack or an app but a Cradlepoint router can do what you want, any place you have cellular service.
