I have BB9530 with Verizon. The instruction said

pin code: 0000 (or any combination of numbers)

dial number: #777 (for verizon wireless)

However, in iBluever Demo, it asks for Access Point (APN) instead of pin code. Are they the same thing? What is Verizon's APN. I know a link for this kind of info was posted many times, but when I click that link, I always get "access violation" error.

If, everything is setup correctly, does the BB suppose to ask for "Enter Numeric Passkey for the iPad"? If so, what is this Passkey and where can I find it?

Thank you for your help!

The PIN is for bluetooth pairing.

I did not enter an APN.

Default Bb9530 + iBluever/OnDemand + iPad2 works

Just jailbroke iPad2 and installed the commercial version iBluever/ondemand, it works like charm. I only need to change three fields: name and password, and dial number. The rest are default.

I guess my bb9539 is not 3G, so the speed is not great.

In terms the data plan usage, would browsing on iPad with tethering with BB be the same as browsing directly on the BB? Could Verizon know you are tethering?

Thanks.

I am curious if anyone has successfully tethered to a 9930 via Sprint? I have tried all the chat scripts available unsuccessfully.

If anyone has any advice for the settings I would greatly appreciate it.

trying to get ibluever working on my ipad1 wifi and bold 9780. downloaded the ibluever trial, followed all the instructions online, Voila! got the 2 icons on the upper right corner, the app launching a popup saying i have succesfully connected, etc etc. so, everything on the ipad says i was successful, but browsing on Safari gives me the not connected to internet error. tried 2x, 3x 10x but still same problem. so i checked the Berry, and noticed as soon as ipad successfully connects, the BB logo goes out, which means the Berry is no longer connected, which explains why the ipad cannot connect to the Net. This happens each and every time. a lot of back reading doesn't show anyone with a similar problem... hmmm what gives?
