8520 won't connect to wifi after MEP unlock

hi

have just unlocked my blackberry curve 8520 and it works fine for texting and everything on both sim cards but now i can't connect to my wi-fi on either card?

i've deleted my wi-fi profile off the phone and re-added it but still no joy.

Anyone any ideas as to what I need to do to get this back?

just to add, i've looked under wi-fi diagnostics and it say 'IP address no longer valid'

if it is just one wi-fi connection, its not the phone

yeah figured it out (a bit), but how do I make my BB use a sim card with no data plan automatically connect with wi-fi to use the internet and not the service provider/carrier? It will connect to wifi if I have my mobile network switched off but not if it's on?
