Default so how does web os work

i have a friend with an iphone, who says that the palm pre has no real apps that the whole phone is web based.

i with a blackberry, fell that the web os is simple farther integration to the web for faster search and what not.

so which is it.

You're both half right. There are some native apps (as in "real apps") and most are programmed. However, that will soon expand and there will be tons of apps. The folks that make iPhone apps can write for the Pre soon as well, so that will probably lead to more apps on the Pre like on iPhone.
