Is the pre coming to verizon soon

I read somewhere that the pre is or might be coming to verizon after the first of the year. Is that true and if so does anyone know when.

Well, originally, there was talk it would hit Verizon by January...VZW seemed pretty hyped up on the Pre. But now....

This rumor has surfaced. So, it's looking less likely.

The GSM Pre is going to roll out in Europe later this year, so maybe one day soon, we'll see that version leap the pond and hit some of the GSM carriers in North America.

Not looking quite as likely that the Pre will be sporting the VZW logo, though.

Yup. In the latest link I posted, a member of the VZW corporate team states that it is indeed coming in January.

Good for Palm to have another outlet...so, yay for VZW and Palm.
