Default Palm Pre may be last stop for a while

I am tired of getting devices replaced. I have already been through two BlackBerry phines, HTC Hero, and now I have a Pre. I am hoping that this is it for the year because I am tired of getting new devices. I just want to be happy with a reliable smartphone. So far I am plesantly surprised. I'm not in love with the Facebook application, but it is tolerable. The web browser is decent, I like the Android browser better. The multitasking is great, and the keyboard isn that difficult to type on. I think that the Pre will be the final stop. It will be good to see the broser get full flash support too.

Good luck with the Pre. I recommend getting the extended battery.

Hope it works out, recommend the 2600 battery also. I got more and more tired of the phone the more I used it. The initial impression was pretty good though

I have had to switch the phone out three times already. Did the 1.4 OS update and now the Sprint Navigation won't work. But there are a lot of things that I like about the device.

I had to finally give up on the Pre. Too many hardware issues. I did find a fax for the GPS, but had to go through a lot of trouble to find it. Traded It in for another Hero.

I'm with you. It takes me about thirty minutes of playing around with a device to find a ton of flaws with it. The only device that I felt was just about great is the device I have now, the Tour. I found so many things that I didn't like about the pre that I had that there was no way I could keep it without going crazy over the flaws. Funny thing is, that I'm only like that when it comes to smartphones.
