Palm Pixi Screen Issues

I have had the Palm Pixi for 22 days. Good OS but screen has very little buffer between edge and glass. Screen pressure cracked while we watched. VZ offered refurb for $50 or have me pay for a new 1 year agreement. Something to think about.

There have been a ton of reports of screen cracking on the pre as well, not even from pressure. Check out the precentral forums.

A lot of people have gone through 4+ devices with this issue. One of the suspected causes is the phone gets too hot and the screen heats up, eventually leading to failure.

This happened to me with my Palm Pre. I had to finally give up on Palm. I went through five devices in one week. That's insane. I would give up on it because you will be exchanging your device a lot.

Wow this is crazy my girlfriend wanted one of these i'm glad i didnt go ahead and buy her one.
