The Pixi is the best looking phone out there right now, IMO, and it might be right for me.

I've decided i dont need a 'power phone'. My Tour is great and all, but all i need from a phone is internet for quick lookups, e mail, and decent texting. I dont think i use 95% of what the Tour can do. I put more emphasis on form factor than functionality since i dont need many functions to be happy.

I had a Pearl before the Tour for basically all those reasons and if the Pixi Plus was at Verizon before it died, then i probably would have gotten it. The Tour is sometimes slow, so i cant see how the supposedly weak Pixi speed is all that much of a deal breaker. Maybe i will find out soon. Im sure the WebOS facebook app is better than blackberry's slow piece of sheeeet.

You're gonna be surprised on the webOs FB app... It is also a POS, just in different ways.

Imo the Treo Pro has a better form factor (and definitely a better build quality), with a similar design... Just the OS isn't as good.

I don't get why they didn't just re-use the Treo Pro... A lot of people liked it and a lot of people hate the Pre/Pixi...

Yeah, I would prefer that over a pixi, but I like the Pre the way it is.

Do you need your phone to actually make phone calls? The Tour is going to be better for that (not least because it has hardware buttons to answer and end a call). If you travel internationally, the Tour will also work in most countries. the CDMA only Pixi will not.
